Business Training

Concerning business or other professional courses, IACCI will utilize the Business Edge curriculum provided by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group for the provision of this training. The initial goal of the Business Edge curriculum since its inception and widespread successful implementation in south-east Asia is to increase their capacity to be able to receive financial assistance and manage this assistance responsibly.

Course Training Durations
Ideal duration for each individual IFC course is 10 hours, covered in 2 5-hour days of training.

Course Training Certification
After completion of the IFC course according to agreed upon standards of attendance and participation, the participant will receive certification from Business Edge (IFC) and IACCI that he/she has completed the course.
IACCI will train 400 such persons over the course of 10 months beginning upon the receipt of the first payment.

Trainees will be enrolled in a program that consists of three separate seminar courses that are the core courses utilized in planning for opening or expanding a small business.

The courses offered to this group will consist of three core topics:

  1. Introduction to Marketing (10 hours)

  2. Planning and Controlling Work (10 hours)

  3. Making a Financial Case (10 hours)

These three courses are part of a program that IFC has coined “Planning for a New Venture.” The goal of this program is to achieve precisely the goals and objectives outlined above, successfully preparing SME owner-managers for receiving and exploiting financial assistance in a responsible manner.
