Micro and Small Grants Distribution in Al-Anbar

Goals and Objectives
This program consists of a micro and small grants component in ANBAR. The overall goal of the grant / SME program is to equip would-be and current micro and small private sector enterprises with the means to produce and expand. The grant essentially provides an infusion of capital along with a plan of how to budget and execute a work plan which is part of the application process.

By providing this infusion of intellectual and material capital, IACCI will equip a business or aspiring professional individuals with the ability to expand or start up a business. In both cases, IACCI is equipping individuals who are potential or existing business leaders with the ability to find jobs, or create jobs for others to fill. In so doing, the employment generated by this program will move productive laborers and workers away from destructive activities or the temptation to engage in such activities towards actual production and means to generate a sustaining income.

IACCI, working closely with IRD, will have as its objective to process and award 25 or more grants per month for a period of 7 months in Ramadi, Grant sizes will range anywhere from $500 to $50,000.
